Lic. José María Herrera Correa graduated in Business Administration from the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnología (ULACIT) in 1995, and his professional experience has been primarily focused in the fields of Administration and Management.
As a complement to his postgraduate studies in Commercial Law and Business Law, he attended a Seminar on Diplomacy and Negotiation Techniques at the Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencias y Tecnología (ULACIT) in 2002.
His professional experience includes serving as Head of Purchasing, General Manager, and Supervisor at various companies in the Free Zone, including Invader International, Esprit, and Yaveka International. He subsequently held the positions of Marketing Manager at A.A. Alpha Bienes Raíces in 1992, and Managing Director at Cajir, S.A. from 1992 to 2002.
Since 1994 to the present, he has served as an advisor to Financiera Metrocredit, S.A., and from 1994 to 2004, to Metroempeños, S.A. He also held positions as Manager of Repossessed Assets (1999–2003), Executive Administration Manager (2003–2004), and Leasing Manager (2004–2005) at Caja de Ahorros. From 2005 to 2009, he served as Collections Manager at Hipotecaria Metrocredit.
Additionally, Lic. Herrera obtained a Real Estate Broker License through UNACOBIN.
