Franklin Briceño Salazar holds a Law and Political Science degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Panama since 1990 and a Master's in Comparative Commercial Law from The Dickinson School of Law in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, as a scholar of the prestigious Fulbright Program.
His professional experience has been fundamentally focused on the field of Banking and Corporate Law, with a successful foray into Labor Law and litigation. Since 1999 he has been a Partner of the firm SB & Co. Legal.
He is an active member of the Interamerican Bar Association, the Panamanian Association of Business Executives (APEDE) where he served as Chairman of the Ethics, Civic Affairs, and CSR Commission, a member of the National Bar Association, and the Fulbright Alumni Association.
In the area of public service, he has served as a member of the Conciliation and Decision Boards of the Ministry of Labor as a representative of the employer sector, and as External Legal Advisor to the Instituto de Seguro Agropecuario.
